Remote Director of Product Management – Data

Your specific responsibilities will include

We’re looking for a leader for our User Experience, User Research, and Design teams. You’ll lead a passionate and talented team to build out a product that helps salespeople be more effective and companies be more successful. THE SKILL SET

  • 8+ years of proven software Product Management experience
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of product management. You’ve successfully taken products from concept to delivery and can coach and grow a team based on first principles of thinking
  • 5+ years in a people management role, with demonstrated success in building and leading a high-performing team
  • Track record of success in data-driven product management, with a focus on data visualization, analysis, and/or reporting as well as data infrastructure
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from data to inform product decisions
  • Understanding of SQL, data analysis tools (e.g. R, Python, Tableau), and data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery)
  • Experience with and strong knowledge of data controls and life cycle (e.g. GDPR, Data Erasure, and Platform Data versus Customer Data Strategy)
  • Collaboration with Design and Engineering leaders to ship a complete product
  • Experience developing people and teams, including performance management, career development, and coaching
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to build trust, navigate difficult conversations, and resolve conflict
  • Experience engaging with enterprise customers for requirements gathering and roadmap conversations
  • A track record of execution and delivery

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

The base salary range for this position in the United States is $148,000 to $254,000.

The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

Remote WordPress Support Specialist

We are on the hunt for some epic talent to join our CampusPress family.

You’ll be working on various WordPress projects across WPMU DEV, CampusPress, and Edublogs.

We’re looking for a person that will be able to also work on weekends and available to work on the following schedules:

  • 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm UTC ( 7:00 am – 3:00 pm CDT )
  • 4:00 pm – 12:00 am UTC ( 11:00 am – 7:00 pm CDT )

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role will involve:

  • Providing support by email to our Edublogs and CampusPress customers.
  • Assisting with and solving all manner of WordPress questions, with style!
  • Contributing to testing and QA with updates to WordPress core, plugins, and themes.
  • Coordinating with developers over bugs, features and cool new stuff.
  • Being an active part of the Incsub team.

This position will play a crucial role in our sales process – discovering, establishing and building relationships with prospective clients to create and qualify sales leads while significantly contributing towards the success of our growth plans.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a rockstar Product Research Specialist who has the experience and passion to strategically develop and execute on a core Makeship Brand initiative, the research of new physical and digital products.  This individual will need to demonstrate a proven track record of success within market research and analysis, brand development, product positioning, and relationship building.  They will strive to have their finger on the pulse of the creator economy and our creator partners and will seek out and validate demand amongst our core market for new product opportunities.  They will coordinate key Makeship teams in finalizing these new product offerings to bring tremendous value to emerging independent creators and their fans.  This position requires a true self-starter who has a strong understanding of today’s consumer.

We are looking for someone with a unique right/left brain mindset with passion for creativity, innovative brand and product concepts, while possessing strong organization, communication, strategic thinking, and project management skills.

As Product Research Specialist, you’ll report to the Creative & Brand Manager and will work alongside multiple teams including Marketing, New Product Development, Partnerships, and Tech to actively seek out, validate, and present new ideas that will move into development for our creator partners.  As a nice bonus, you will also be joining one of Canada’s fastest-growing start-up companies!

Your Key Responsibilities

  • 2 to 4+ years of experience in product or brand research or management, or any role with a specific focus on the introduction of physical products.
  • Experience working directly with customers to identify product needs.

  • A curious mind, as demonstrated through your experience in market research and customer insights. You can formulate the right questions, and know when/how to ask them.

  • Expert hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Ahrefs (or similar backlink tools), and crawling tools (Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl), Google Search Console
  • Proven track record of improving website health, growing DA, and significantly driving the amount of non-branded website visits
